A.G. Sayyed operates this website (the “Site”). The Site is hosted as a static Hugo build and embeds a contact form powered by Formspree. Because the experience is intentionally lightweight, only a small amount of personal data is collected and it is handled with care.

Contact form submissions – When you send a message through the contact form, Formspree captures the fields you submit (typically your name, email address, and the contents of the message) and forwards them to me by email.
Direct email or responses – If you reply to the email thread or contact me separately, any additional information you share is processed so I can respond.

Information collected automatically

Server and security logs – The hosting provider records standard log data (IP address, browser details, pages requested, timestamps, and similar) to keep the infrastructure secure and to diagnose issues. This data is retained only as long as necessary for those purposes.
Formspree diagnostics – Formspree may capture usage metadata (e.g., IP address, user agent, timestamp) to detect spam and deliver messages reliably.

Contact messages are kept in my email archive for up to 12 months so I have context for ongoing conversations and follow-ups.
Server and security logs are typically retained for no longer than 30 days unless they are needed to investigate a specific incident.

Hosting provider – The static site is deployed from GitHub to my hosting platform, which stores routine server logs to operate the service securely.
